The white cane is an internationally recognized tool that allows visually challenged people to navigate their personal and public spaces.
Congratulations to Harry Duchesne and Bill Ruggierio for their contributions to White Cane Awareness Day! Harry and Bill traveled to the Statehouse to join Governor Maura Healey and a room full of state and city officials, state legislators and the head of the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind in a celebration of White Cane Awareness Day.
